If I'm being honest I haven't watched an award ceremony since cable, but this this year the VMAs caught my attention with the gothic theme that seemed rampant on the red carpet. The common trend that's being reported right now if the return of the Tumblr era without the negatives, and the fashion I've seen so far for the season is meeting those standards. Here are some of my favorite looks from the 2022 VMAs (in no particular order).
